Located in Ballena, this vacation home is in the mountains and on the waterfront. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Punta Uvita and Marino Ballena National Park. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching. Arboretum is brand new luxury estate completed in 2020. This 23 acre property is nestled along the front ridge of a large mountain called Escaleras, located about halfway between Dominical and Uvita on the Ballena Coast on the Pacific side of Costa Rica. Escaleras is the premier location in Costa Rica where the mountains truly meet the sea, and home to many high end luxury properties. Extremely private, safe and secure and minutes to the beach and other area amenities/entertainment including multiple national parks.
Property consists of eight (8) villas totaling 11 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. the Main House (3/4) and Guest House (2/3) both include large terraces with pools, full kitchens and W/D. Six (6) very private detached bungalows (1/1) provide guests with privacy while still integrated closely with the main villas. Perfect for hosting large/multiple families, corporate retreats and exceptional for weddings. Comfortably sleeps 30 people.
Surrounded by rain forest this property has multiple creeks/rivers meandering through it that include large waterfalls 50'+ and plenty of places to explore. Abundant wildlife including daily visits from monkeys. Expansive, 180 degree ocean views including whale watching, crashing waves and year round sunsets.
Gated and secure with full time English speaking caretakers/security located on property and there for assistance 24 hours a day during your entire stay. Daily cleaning included in price. Full/Part time chef's recommendations available upon request.
