Split Rock Cabin is the contemporary getaway you’ve been dreaming of. This light filled modern cabin, built in 2020, has modern amenities galore and a secluded location for your Upstate escape. This stylish Barryville home is set on a private country road, on a nearly six acre wooded lot.
Enter the main living space and you’ll find a cathedral ceiling with exposed beams. This open concept living room is the heart of the cabin, and a fantastic gathering space, whether you bring the family, or make it a couple’s getaway. A wood burning stove anchors the room, and provides a warm and cozy winter ambience. In the warmer months, you can subsist purely on the sunlight that fills the bright interior as you lounge on your choice of stylish sofas, or corner lounger.
There is a dining nook in a windowed corner of the living space, next to the ultra modern galley kitchen. Pull up a chair to the modern reclaimed style dining table and you can make room for six, but when the weather is nice, you’ll want to take advantage of the propane grill on the front porch, and dine al fresco next to the fire pit on the natural bluestone patio.
