Our spacious home is located in a quiet neighborhood just 10 miles south of downtown. If you're looking for a newly remodeled, comfortable home for a big group, with a great work from home set up, this is the home for your Austin experience. The wifi speed is 500 megabytes download and 20 megabytes upload. The backyard is fully fenced in with room to hang out on a nice afternoon. The neighborhood has sidewalks which is great for a morning stroll with your family, friends, or fur baby!
Home owner is a licensed real estate agent in Austin and happy to help w/finding homes for sale. He can be flexible with move in/move out dates for his clients.
This home has an open feel, making it easy to cook a delicious dinner, sit around the dining room table as a family, or watch a movie with the whole group! With two separate living areas, half the group can watch one show downstairs while the rest of the group socializes in the cozy upstairs living room.
The house has just been remodeled with modern furnishings and fixtures to make you feel comfortable and right at home. The kitchen is fully equipped for you to whip up any meal. There's coffee, creamer, and sugar provided for your stay, so you won't have to worry about waking up on your first morning of vacation without your fix :)
There is one bedroom downstairs with a king bed and a full bathroom right next door. At the top of the stairs there are 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, full walk-in closet, and a shared full bath. On the opposite side of the upstairs living room is the largest bedroom, with two queen beds, and a beautiful and spacious bathroom and walk-in closet attached. Also upstairs you'll find a full laundry room.
With a fully fenced-in backyard, feel free to bring your fur babies and spend time relaxing outside on a nice afternoon.
In terms of the location, you'll find that we're only 10 miles south of downtown. Hop in your car or grab an Uber and be downtown in no time. If you're looking for a fun bar or even a bar hopping experience closer to the house, Menchaca Road is filled with outdoor bars such as Armadillo Den, Moontower Saloon, and South Austin Beer Garden. These fun, local Austin spots, have lots to offer ranging from sand volleyball, food trucks, and fire pits. Grab your group, and check out these nearby joints less than 5 minutes away.
If you're ultimate goal is to be close enough to downtown to experience all that Austin has to offer, but you also want the privacy of a quiet neighborhood to retreat to after a day of exploring, our home is exactly what you're looking for!
You'll have the entire home to yourself. The garage is off-limits, but the driveway fits two cars and there is plenty of free street parking right outside the home.
