2 Bedroom House in South 7th Ward, New Orleans

Ground floor, two bedroom home in the heart of Marginy. This home has 12 ft ceilings, central a/c, 2.5 baths, massive open kitchen/dining/living room with 50" tv. Out back is a shady deck and gas grill. * Two king-size bedrooms each with master bath with separate shower and tub. Additional futons and linens provided to sleep up to 8 people. * One block walk to famed Frenchmen street, and an 5 minute stroll to the French Quarter. * Six new cruiser bikes are free for touring NOLA
The house is an old baptist church that was recently gut renovated with everything new except the old fireplaces (decorative). Each bedroom is approximately 14x14 with a new king size bed, futon sofa, dresser and walk-in closet. Each bedroom has its own master bath equipped with basic amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, advil, make up wipes, etc. All sheets and towels are provided for you. Bedrooms are located on opposite ends of the house providing for maximum privacy. The huge common area between includes kitchen, dining space, and tv lounge. It is furnished eclectically with a mix of antiques and new furniture and decorated with art from our travels. The spacious kitchen is equipped with gas stove, fridge with filtered ice and water dispenser plus all the usual necessities like coffee makers, kettle, toaster, blender etc. For you chefs, we have a mini food processor, hand blender, and other useful gadgets. Laundry room and half bath adjoin the kitchen for convenience. The dining table seats 5 for daily use and will extend to seat 8. The lounge area includes a large comfortable leather sectional sofa and ottoman - lounges 8 and sleeps 2 comfortably. The TV is setup with Roku providing Netflix, Amazon Prime TV/Movies, Pandora, YouTube, NBC sports, most major news channels and more. Out back is the relaxing deck with seating for 6. It is always shaded so we chill out there on cooler days and most nights. There is also a propane grill for use during your stay.
The whole house is at your finger tips. Check in is 24 hours (after 2pm) as our front door is installed with a smart lock. You will be given a personalized code for entry during your stay. We leave you to enjoy our home on your own. But we will be available 24/7 if you have any issues or questions.
The Neighborhood: Marigny is a historic area in New Orleans directly adjoining the French Quarter. It is home to Frenchman Street, NOLA's premiere live music street, only one block from the house. It is home to lots of bars, delicious restaurants, unique shops and activities. It is only a 7 minute walk to the craziness of Bourbon Street, the French Market, and all that the French Quarter has to offer. We prefer the more relaxed vibe of Marigny. Added bonus, convenient street parking and less traffic.
Our home is right in the heart of the best of NOLA, so its a quick easy walk to Frenchman Street, the French Quarter and beyond. There are 5 bikes for your use if you want to cover more ground to Magazine Street, City Park and more. There are multiple bus stops within a two minute walk. Uber is also very convenient for car service. Everything not walkable in NOLA is less than a 10 minute drive away. NOLA is such a beautiful place, you want to see it all.
