Summary: There are plenty of better options in my opinion. The house was nice although a little dated. Clean, nice pool and on a side canal with a dock. We were not able to access the dock with our boat due to low bridges on both sides of Blue Cove. It’s not close to the spring head or KP Hole by boat or kayak. The house comes with kayaks and paddle boards which were great for the area.We were not able to gain access to the house when we got there because the property manager did not send us the code beforehand. When we were told the code, it didn’t work. Fortunately, we found a door that had been left unlocked and could get in. There is also a friend of the owner that uses the property for boat storage, taking away a parking spot under the carport. The boat was not there when we arrived and mysteriously showed up while we were out one day. Just seemed odd that someone else was using the property while we had paid to use it. Also, we don’t know if this stranger went inside and riffled through our belongings. When we reported this issue the response was basically “sorry” and they left it at that, not even trying to make it right in any way.They also ask for you to clean the house even though they charge a cleaning fee. Seems unprofessional/unethical for them to try to pocket extra money that way.
