The Space:
This is a beautifully remodeled and updated 2 BR/2 BA condo on the 3rd floor of Ocean Walk, which is 10th row from the ocean (0.35 miles). There is an elevator with a luggage cart available in the building which makes it easy to pack and unpack your things.
You will thoroughly enjoy the updated roomy kitchen that is fully stocked with amenities such as a keurig, a regular coffee pot, and plenty of cooking pots and pans. The open layout allows the kitchen to flow directly into the family room that has a comfortable couch and nice appropriately decorated with beach decor. A porch is right off the family room where you can enjoy a meal outdoors or just enjoy the amazing Lowcountry weather.
The spacious primary King bedroom is located just off of the family room and has an en suite with a shower/tub combo.
One of the standout features of this particular unit is the "lock off" option that gives this condo a lot of flexibility. Just off of the kitchen is a sitting area, garnished with a comfortable couch and TV. Included in this area is a kitchenette that has a refrigerator, sink, and mini microwave. If you go past the kitchenette you will find the second queen bedroom with shower/tub combo. There is a nice porch with Adirondack chairs off of this 2nd bedroom to sit and enjoy HHI and the Lowcountry ocean air. This lock--off is great for teens, grandparents or anyone that needs to have their own space and relax.
The Neighborhood:
Ocean Walk has a conveniently located indoor pool (heated) and as well as an outdoor pool that you can enjoy at your leisure. The indoor pool also has a spacious hot tub for your enjoyment. There are also tennis courts on property that are available for guests to use. The condo is located right near Coligny Plaza (7/10 of a mile) where there are many wonderful shops and restaurants to enjoy. There is a walking path that will lead you directly to the beach from Coligny. There is also an amazing brand new state of the playground that has a pirate ship theme just around the corner from Coligny called the Celebration Park. This is a great place to unwind after a long day at the beach. There is an open quad where you can either put blanket down and enjoy the evening, or throw a football and frisbee with friends and family. There are also benches, and picnic tables located underneath a covered area giving you the option to eat and enjoy a snack or meal.
Hilton head is also known for it's many biking trails and sidewalks; You can enjoy a short bike ride from the condo down to the shops and restaurants at Coligny, as well as beautiful Sea Pines where the famous Harbourtown lighthouse is located, and is also home to the Championship golf course at Harbourtown, where the PGA Heritage golf tournament is played annually.
