Beautifully renovated coastal cottage centrally located just minutes from Rockport Beach and Rockport's charming downtown, amazing restaurants, and shopping. This spacious 1200 sq ft, 2bd/2ba home is loaded with upgrades including USB outlets for convenient charging, smart TV's, WiFi, and even a direct connection to internet to make working remotely easy. The master bedroom has a king bed, and the guest bedroom has a queen bed plus double twin trundle and connecting bathroom. Whether you're relaxing with your feet up, playing games at the dining table, or preparing your favorite meal in the fully equipped kitchen, you'll find everything you need for a hassle-free stay. The bathrooms are supplied with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer and towels. Every room has ceiling fans and there's a washer and dryer onsite. The large back yard is fully fenced for privacy and offers a covered patio with comfortable patio furniture and propane barbecue grill, perfect for entertaining. There is plenty of parking and secure space for your boat and water sport equipment. Dogs welcome.
Pets: $50 non-refundable pet fee for up to 2 dogs (no cats). Additional pets require permission from owner and are subject to additional fees. We ask that pet owners bring something to put under kennels to protect the floor - Please do not use towels, linens or rugs provided in home. More details available in Rental Agreement.

Summary: This home was so lovely, and as another reviewer put it, the details that went into its renovation were so thoughtful and on point. It was so great having this home as our base to explore the Texas coast, and having an HEB right down the road made breakfasts and lunches and last-minute purchases so easy and affordable! Everything here was comfortable and perfectly thought-out and provided; even the toaster was gleaming! I am so glad I splurged for this property over a few slightly lower-priced ones. We would DEFINITELY stay here again! A few tips for those who stay here: 1. Be sure and read the book Lori provided for information about wi-fi, check-out procedures, etc. 2. There is a car wash next door that was quite busy, but it never bothered us. A nice, tall fence separates it from the (huge) property line. I just cheered the cars with my coffee in the morning; they didn't see me, however 😬. 3. This was my only, and I mean ONLY, negative: it was requested not to turn down the A/C lower than 70 for fear of freezing the line and being responsible for a service call. This made for some uncomfortable nights for this cold-loving family. For other people, it might not be an issue. Don't let that deter you from renting; the house is renovated with gorgeous ceiling fans in every space that were powerful. This was a great property! Highly recommend!!!
