Summary: When first checking into the property I was impressed upon seeing the location and knowing the price; however, as I spent time in the unit I became less and less amused. For what it’s worth, the unit served its purpose as I was on vacation to be on the beach or explore, not to spent time in a luxury condo. With that being said, the lack of cleanliness disturbed me most. There was dried vomit or something similar on the blinds of a front window of the unit, sink has a strong, horrid smell of fish that hadn’t been disposed of within the garbage disposal, and the bedroom carpet was so old/dingy I didn’t feel comfortable walking on it barefoot because of all the dust (or who knows what) that felt to be in it. The unit overall was outdated from the cabinets to appliances, furniture, and random decor that looked to be gathered from a local yard sale. Th two TV’s provided are circa 2002 little 28 inch tv’s, with no cable provided as the XFINITY code on the TV proved to be an unpaid bill. Fortunately, I did not have children with me (or it would have been a nightmare) and was able to survive without TV during the college basketball tournament by having to go watch at local establishments. Overall, the unit’s location and front porch view are very nice. I hope the property management soon invests in updating this unit and cleaning it better to really capitalize on the quiet, beautiful location while providing a better experience to the renter.
