Vacation at South Seas Resort, Lands End, in a designer-decorated 2 bedroom Ocean front Condominium. This vacation home offers the best views on Captiva. The view from the living room, enclosed sun room, dining room, kitchen and balcony is breathtaking--with a sweeping vista of the Gulf of Mexico to Upper Captiva Island and across Pine Island sound. The second bedroom suite overlooks the golf course lined with palm trees and the Gulf of Mexico All of the rooms are newly painted gray and decorated with easy going fabrics. A few minutes walk brings you to a pristine, private white sand beach for a Lands End only. A large heated pool, hot tub, grills, tennis courts, and golf course are adjacent to the condominium. The Beautiful white sand beach is just a short walk or bike ride down one fare way. Excellent shelling and fishing await outside the back door. The South Seas resort marina and marina store/deli are a two minute walk from the condo. Captiva Cruises is based at the marina and offers daily sunset cruises, nature cruises, and cruises to Cayo Costa Island state park, Boca Grande, Useppa Island and and Cabbage Key. The Colgate sailing school offers sailing lessons for all levels. A multitude of water sports are available, including parasailing and boating and fishing. Captiva is renowned for its seashells, easily found in early morning beach walks near the condo. The condo has a new kitchen with stainless steel appliances, Bosch dishwasher, and a washer/dryer are just off the kitchen. The living room and sunroom have new furniture, including a sofa , comfortable lounge chairs, and small table and chairs for extra eating space, or to use as a game table with aN expansive view of the sound and Gulf of Mexico . The condo has white oak floors throughout the living areas and bedrooms, with newly tiled baths and newly tiled balconies. The balcony on the gulf has lounges and a teak table with four chairs. There are three flat screen TVs with DVD players in the condo, cable, Roku and free wifi. The master bedroom has a king size bed with new Serta mattress, soaking tub, double head shower, double sinks, skylights, and a view to the Gulf, for a spa-like relaxing soak. Its balcony is directly on Redfish Pass and has views of Upper Captiva Island, the Gulf of Mexico and the bay. The second en suite bedroom has a full bath, two double beds, and a balcony overlooking the golf course and the Gulf of Mexico beyond. Each is comfortably furnished with new, high quality mattresses on all beds. We keep a high chair in the unit. We appeal to people who want to be near the beach and pool, on the water, watch the dolphins jumping, the lines of pelicans soaring across the pass, and watch the sun rise and over the peaceful waters of the bay and gulf from a spacious, luxurious condo in a safe and quiet location. The beach is beautiful and a short walk or golf cart ride down one fare way. Carts can be rented at Lands End. The Lands End pool and spa are included. Their setting is in a garden of palm trees and flowering bushes and trees. It is four buildings away and overlooks the golf course and Gulf of Mexico. Gas grills are available for use there, and also one is between our building and the next. There is also a secluded large spa or hot tub set behind smaller palm trees for use. Lands End village also has its own tennis courts for your enjoyment. Most of the restaurants on Captiva deliver to the door and we are happy to recommend our favorite restaurants, boat captains and night spots.
