Located directly on the Currituck Sound in The Currituck Club community of North Carolina's Outer Banks, Sound Racer features five bedrooms, including three master bedrooms with private baths and deck access. All five bedrooms have DirecTV provided to their own TV / DVD player, and wireless internet is available throughout the house. The "reverse floor plan" includes a top floor with a large kitchen, dining room, screened porch and a Great Room with a 40" HDTV and surround sound system. The fully-stocked kitchen has two dishwashers, a double oven, microwave and two coffee makers. Culligan treated water is available throughout the home and filtered drinking water is provided to the kitchen sink and the kitchen ice maker. Designed with families in mind, Sound Racer also has a den with a 51" HDTV, DirecTV, surround sound and Blu-Ray disc player. The lower level game room includes a pool table, full size refrigerator, sink, microwave and 37" TV with DirecTV and DVD. There's also ping pong and foosball in the garage. Outdoor relaxation is just steps away via the gated private pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, outdoor surround sound system with a dock for your iPod, and a Tiki Bar with built-in gas grill and sink. Extras galore! The top level includes an "office nook" with printer in case your day job calls. In addition to outstanding views of the sound, the top deck offers an outdoor sound system with iPod dock, a gas grill, and a table with plenty of seating for dining -- or just hanging out and watching the sunset. The screened porch also has outdoor speakers and a ceiling fan which makes it a great spot for morning breakfast or an afternoon siesta. Sound Racer is located in the Currituck Club where community amenities include several nearby pools, tennis courts, health club and golf course. Activities and events are held throughout the summer. For easy access to the beach, the Currituck Club operates a trolley from Saturday of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. And it will pick you up right at the end of the driveway! No Smoking.
