Positive: It was very central and we could easily walk to just about everything we wanted to see. We loved being in a house where we could feel more part of the city life. Sitting out on the balcony in the morning sipping iced coffee and watching busy city life happen on the street below was such a great way to start the day. We didn’t really use the kitchen because we ate out but it looked it be equipped with everything you need for basic cooking. The house was not huge but the bedrooms were very spacious and we didn’t feel at all cramped (a family of 5) for the five days we were there. It was decorated beautifully - such cute shutters and big arched windows. Very Wes Anderson! The AC worked really well and cooled the rooms very quickly. Anh was easy to contact and very friendly and helpful. We had already sorted airport transfers but she was able to help with that if you needed it. There were mosquitoes and roaches down in the passage from outside (normal for a city) but we didn’t see a single one of either in the house itself. It was very clean and airy.
Negative: It was noisy in the way that a house in the middle of a busy city is noisy but we were expecting that. Anh leaves a sleep mask and earplugs in case you need them. The stairs are very narrow - we had no problem but if you have mobility issues this may be difficult for you.
Summary: We loved it and would happily come again!
