It doesn't get much closer to the ocean than this! Kahana Reef is just steps away from the water, with amazing views of the ocean and the islands of Molokai and Lanai. Whether you lay in a chair on the grassy front lawn, sit at the lanai, walk to the sandy beach next door, or take a dip in the pool, you can hear the peaceful sound of the ocean from everywhere on this property. It is a smaller complex with masonry construction, which adds to the peace and quiet of it all. It’s also centrally located between Kapalua and Kaanapali, for you to enjoy all that West Maui has to offer. It’s an amazing location for a relaxing getaway.
Guess how much we have changed our cleaning practices since Covid-19 came along? Not at all! That's because we have always taken the time to provide unequaled care with our housekeeping. We sanitize every light switch, every handle and every surface-every time. We even change the mattress pad and wash all our comforters and blankets with every guest; our cleaners say it's "unheard of".
Our property is Owner operated and maintained, which offers a level of care that you won’t get with a management company. We care that each of our guests feels at home while visiting Maui.
This is a spacious top floor, 611sf, one bedroom, one bathroom unit. The kitchen is fully equipped and has granite countertops and newer appliances. The bedroom has a king-sized bed, and there is a queen-sized pull-out sofa bed in the living room. With new finishes, new bedroom furniture, "Westin Heavenly" mattress and box spring, 70" television and much, much more, you'll get the most comfortable, oceanfront stay at an affordable price.
Kahana is centrally located minutes away from Kapalua, Napili, and Ka’anapali, where you can enjoy the best beaches, golf, and restaurants. There are also lots of restaurants within walking distance.
Free wifi, cable TV, parking, phone, gas bbq grills available on ground floor, laundry facility on-site. No air conditioning is provided in this complex.
Minimum 4-night​ rental. There is a $200.00 cleaning fee. Daily maid service is an additional charge. 17.42% State and County Taxes added to all rates, rates subject to change in accordance with State of Hawaii statutes.

Summary: I will start with words: gorgeous sunsets, whales, turtles, cooling afternoon winds, quiet, spectacular view. We awoke to the soothing sound of waves that totally drowned out anything but dreams. The condo was well supplied with pots and pans for cooking. Very clean and comfortable. I slept in the bedroom on a fantastic mattress. My friend slept on the sofa bed. The traffic noise ended around 11pm and started up again at 4:30 am, in between I was lulled back to sleep by the ocean waves. The biggest problem with traffic noise was due to “shaking” loud music of a few repeat drivers, (I watched the traffic one morning,) and mufflers that didn’t muffle. The road that Khana Reef is on, is also a bus route that starts around 5am and comes by every 30min. Very Accessible. The grounds and location are perfect. There is a beach adjacent to the condos that offers all a beach has to offer to a swimmer and sun lover as well as snorkelers and sand castle builders. Grocery store a few miles away and excellent Chinese take out is just across the street. Home away from home. A glass of wine to watch the sunset tops of a great day. Aloha.
