Positive: The SnowHotel itself was incredible - truly an amazing thing to visit (or spend the night if you're brave!). We stayed in the wooden cabins which were comfortable and warm. Meals were excellent! Local ingredients and very well prepared. The negative review is because of the time of year we visited, very few activities were available. The dogs were sick and some were quarantined, and the reindeer seemed depressed. The staff were friendly and helpful , but given the choice, we would really only return in the winter time.
Negative: Activities at the time of year we visited were minimal; animals being cared for on site seemed very sad. I think in peak winter or peak summer this would be very fun, we just had poor timing in when we visited.
Summary: Seeing the snowhotel is worthwhile once in your life! an amazing feat they have created here.
