Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Good location, quiet street (apart from the builders working outside which couldn’t be helped). Great cafe on the corner. Well equipped for its size.

Negative: No sheets for second bed on arrival ( although requested) . Boiler not working so no hot water or heating. To be fair both were sorted promptly. Basin in bathroom didn’t drain at all, so not useable. Smoke alarm had no battery. The large standing plant in the bedroom was totally dead. It was lacking a bit of TLC. There were no instructions for anything and being people of a certain age we failed to get the TV to work.

Summary: We enjoyed Chester a lot and didn’t spend much time at at the property. The place was ok for the price but needs a few t
