Slopeside is named for its access to the Tamarack Ski lift and trails on Stratton Mountain. A short walk down the maintained trail in either direction brings you to the ski lift or back home. 3 bedrooms, 2 and 1/2 baths. Master (King) with a private bath and sitting area, second bedroom with queen bed and access to the shared bath. Kids bunk room with hall bath access. Generous ski room entry with 1/2 bath, updated kitchen. Living room with wood burning fireplace. Attached back deck with table and seating. Community hot tub (all season) and pool (seasonal) access.
Short paved walk to Stratton Village. Village has all Season restaurants, bars, stores, coffee shop, candy store etc..

Hiking and Mountain biking. Bike rentals on mountain site as well as in town. Golf a mile down the road- public access. Beautiful foliage and scenic trails in the fall.

Summary: The home was comfortable and convenient to the mountain. It had all the essentials needed for the stay. I would recommend the home for a more casual, family trip. There would not be enough room for 6 adults to sit comfortably in the living room area to watch a movie or be in front of the fire together. We were 4 adults and it was fine. The home can be a little drafty and it takes the heat some time to warm up the home so having the fireplace was super nice and helpful! They supplied plenty of firewood for our stay and it was easy to use. The manager did check in during our stay to make sure we were doing okay and to provide updates. My kids (ages 22 - 33) were also happy.
