SADIE 2-STORY
This home is one of the most well-known properties in Lavaca - the former Live Oak Grocery building built in 1915 is in the heart of the Historic district and offers a one of a kind breathtaking view of the Tower of the Americas from the covered 2nd floor patio. Blending historical materials with modern aesthetics, this fully renovated home exudes modern elegance without losing its original charm. The large historic shop style windows allow the natural light to fill the spacious living area creating an inviting atmosphere. From the brick walls, stained concrete floors, beautiful, stained beams & cypress pillars to the high ceilings, polished quartz counter tops & gorgeous, refinished hardwood floors, this home is the perfect blend of original historical features meets sleek modern day industrial design. The fully equipped kitchen has been updated with everything you need to prepare amazing dinners, along with expansive kitchen island and separate dining area that seats eight. The large 2 car garage was completely remodeled & converted from it's original function as a dry cleaners in the early 1900's. Additional free on-street parking is available if needed. Please note: Although there are multiple antique doors that appear to enter the front of the home from the first floor of the property, only the single door entering from Sadie Street is functional. You can also park in the garage and enter the home through the back door into the laundry room.
The home boasts a total of five flat screen smart TV's in the living room and all main bedrooms - Internet enabled so you can log in to your Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon prime accounts. You'll enjoy WiFi mesh net with high speed internet connection, water softener and reverse osmosis drinking water. A private backyard with BBQ grill is a great place for entertainment & relaxing w/friends under the twinkling lights.
As you enter the home, you'll notice that natural light fills the living area highlighting the exposed wood feature wall and refinished hardwood floors. The living room provides ample comfortable seating and boasts a large leather sofa with ottomans and a luxury Coddle me Queen size convertible sofa bed. 75" UHD Smart TV. The kitchen is fully stocked to satisfy any cook (even on holiday) - there's even a Keurig Coffee / Tea station. Drip coffee maker also available. The dining area offers an industrial style crank table with seating for 6 while an additional pub table in the living area will seat up to 3 more.
The master bedroom is furnished with a beautiful king-size iron bed. This room has an En-suite full bathroom with walk-in shower and is split from the secondary bedrooms. The second guest room is also furnished with a vintage-style king size iron bed while the third bedroom has a a Twin XL iron bed and a twin over full bunk bed. The secondary guest rooms enjoy hallway access to a large full bathroom with bathtub /shower. Enjoy access to an indoor laundry room with new front load washer and dryer.
