The Skylift Lodge is a luxury slopeside 2 floor mountain retreat walking distance to the Mountain Creek ski slopes. Ideal for families, there are 3 bedrooms (Bedroom 1=Queen, Bedroom 2=Queen, Bedroom 3 = 1 bunk bed) and a Recreation room with 2 sets of bunks. There are 2 bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, both with jacuzzi tubs. Experience Vernon's nearby outdoor activities--ski, bike or zipline on Mountain Creek, splash in Mountain Creek Waterpark, visit Legoland NY or the American Dream Mall, ride horses at Legends Stables, play golf on 3 nearby courses, or hike the Appalachian trail.
We are located within Great Gorge Village, a 24/7 guarded gated residential community nestled on the slopes of the Mountain Creek ski area in Vernon, NJ. Skiing on a blue level trail is a short walk uphill. These are the closest slopes to New York City (47 miles) so it's a fun way to getaway, unwind and get out in nature.

- How far is it to the Mountain Creek ski area? Answer: For those who can ski blue slopes, we are just a short walk uphill to the Garden State ski trail. For beginners or families with small children, we recommend driving around to the Mountain Creek ticketing and parking lot, which is a 6 minute drive away.
- Can we use the pools/gym at Minerals Sports Club? Answer: Only if you book a spa treatment at the Elements Spa. Please contact Elements Spa for more details.
- Does your place come with pool access? No, but we are right next door to the Mountain Creek Waterpark. Check out their website.

- Are the bunk-beds suitable for adults? Yes, they have very comfortable Modway Aveline 8" Gel Infused Memory Foam Twin mattresses, very suitable for adults.
- Do you have a grill? No, gas grills are not allowed in the Great Gorge Village due to the fire risk of the wooden condo's.

The Skylift Lodge comes equipped with a fully-equipped kitchen with spices and all the tools you need for meal prep. Basics like a washer & dryer, TV, WIFI, and linens and towels are all provided, including toiletries to pamper you during your stay.
Last but not least coffee and tea aren't overlooked so you have fuel for your day!
You will have the Skylift Lodge all to yourself, but we are only a phone call or a text away.
-There is room for 2 cars in our parking lot. If you come with more cars, they have to be parked at the large parking lot just outside the gated community.
-Booking guest must be 25 years or older and be present every night of the booking. People outside of the group for which you booked the Skylift Lodge are not allowed on the premises. Please contact us if you need an exception to this rule.
-We require names of all drivers and license plates for our security gate
-We are a mountain retreat, so cell service can be spotty with certain providers. You can use our WIFI calling within the lodge.
-Our condo has 2 outside security cameras to protect our property, neighbors, and our guests. Make sure you come only with the confirmed number of guests in order to comply with Vernon fire and safety regulations. The cameras are located at the entrance and patio doors, and of course do not show the interior of the property.
-Just like all other condos near Mountain Creek, the Skylift Lodge is of wood construction. This means that at times you can faintly hear our neighbors, and if you are too loud, they can hear you. Please be considerate of our neighbors and keep noise levels reasonable. We installed a noise-monitoring device that will alert us if noise levels are excessive.
- We regularly get inquires for longer-terms stays. This is certainly possible, but we only book these through VRBO. Stays for longer than a week get 15% discount, stays longer than a month 30%.
