Please read ALL text BELOW ! Our villa is one of 5 on a secluded olive terrace. Our patio is on two sides giving a private eating and relaxing area. Our low stone wall separates us from a beautiful deep valley filled with olives and wild areas. Beyond is the Aegean Seaway with the next island of Skopelos and Alonissos beyond. Facing East you wake to the sunrise and return at the end of a hot day to the cool of the evening as the sun sets behind the villa. Now please read on ------------ Your own (Booked in advance) transport is essential as we are on a mountain side above the town (out of sight and sound) We have used Victoriarentals -Skiathos, a Greek family company,& Mustang Rent a Car-Skiathos, both with web sites and based in Skiathos Town and at the airport. With Victoria you collect and pay for your car at the airport, leaving it back there when you leave. They have been an excellent company to deal with over 16 years. But it is well worth you investigating Mustang as well who will offer a similar arrangement. Parking is by our villa. Both our neighbours are English and don't rent. There are two shower rooms, one on each floor. A comfortable Salon with TV (only news channels) but a DVD slot. No established Wifi except via smart phone. Reception varies. We have an English lady resident on Skiathos, who provides cleaning and laundry services and meets you at the airport or ferry terminal, subsequently guiding you to our villa to settle you in. Please do your research on our villa and Skiathos before booking to avoid any disappointments. As previously said, a previous guest was upset that Skiathos "Was beachy!" FOR 2019 Primarily -- if you fly from London Gatwick !! It's costly flying to Skiathos BUT, look at Opodo on-line, who are selling T.Cook flights at big discounts. This may also apply to other UK airports.
