Harrisons at the Sheraton Grand Mirage
Recently awarded their 10th Chef’s Hat (making it Port Douglas’s only hatted restaurant) Harrisons menu is an experience in itself. Created by nationally acclaimed ex-London super-chef, Spencer Patrick, you can’t help lingering over his roasted Barramundi with scallops, clams and onion whey. A fusion of colonel and chandelier ambience, Harrisons is idyllc for snacks, cocktails, lazy lunches or candlelit romance by the poolside terrance.
Salsa Bar & Grill
Famed as the Local’s Favourite, Salsa Bar & Grill likewise embraces travellers on this culinary adventure. Laid-back elegance meets casual tropical dining in a revelation of atmosphere and taste creativity. Signatures like pesto melted-cheese bread, red-claw linguini & chocolate Cointreau souffle will create mouth-watering memories. So will the exotic fruit cocktails. With literal countless awards, put Salsa on a list alongside your Daintree & reef must-do’s.
The Mexican
Husband and wife team, Sarah & Jon Lovett, hold such great passion for both the region and upbeat dining, they’ve delightfully fused the two. Funky and casual, with sidewalk seating, The Mexican delivers a traditional menu with a twist. Try your tacos with local fresh crocodile and habanero, or pork belly with banana glaze. Love them with timeless chicken & beef? No problem! Try washing any flavour down with a chocolate tequila milkshake dessert!
Seabean
Once again on ‘Eat Street’, you can sit back and gaze over mountainous views & watch the ships roll in. Prized for its second-to-none tapas, the Seabean’s sharing plates are so exceptional, you’ll be planning your return holiday over extraordinary cocktails. No kidding. And once you’re done with the blue-cheese mushrooms and sherry-infused chorizo, do not miss the brulee. World renowned, folks have been known to travel the globe for its creamy delight & glazed perfection; all served in a local fresh coconut!
Watergate
Down a flame-lit path, you’ll enter the height of casual cosmopolitan dining. In the very heart of Port Douglas, Watergate offers a journey into contemporary Australian tasting. Using only Tablelands produce, homemade cheeses and fresh catch from local fisherman, its hard to pass up the reef fish of the day with kaffir & beurre blanc. The strawberry Geisha Girl cocktail will prove another highlight of your holiday!
The Tin Shed (Combined Club)
As the only restaurant & bar situated directly on the water, there’s nothing like sipping an icy cold beverage over the inlet, with swaying palms and white-boats framing the scene. The Tin Shed has a more casual, pub style menu, but second to none in value. You’ll find all-time treats like the seafood basket & parmigiana on offer, as well as curries, burgers and kids meals. Yet if you’re looking for something more adventurous while basking in the view, the San Chow Bow or blue-lip mussels are huge favourites too!
Sassi Cucina E Bar

Eclectic and charismatic, Sassi’s will tempt you with the freshest, mouth-watering seafood, hand-crafted pasta & fragrant chargrilled steaks.
