Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The location is the best in Praiano, in Vettica, on the sunset side. The view from the terraces is amazing, with Positano off to the right and Li Galli islands in front and Capri in the distance. We loved the pool, even though it was a little too early in the season to use it. It’s very private and exceptionally hard to find in Praiano. The interior was just the right size for 4 people. It’s been tastefully remodeled. The bathrooms upstairs are big for Italy and modern. The shower is a good size too. Beds were nice although a little on the hard side. The kitchen is nice with everything you need. The house is very central to everything in town and has a fantastic position that makes it easy to get to the beach down below and the grocery and restaurants up past the church.
Negative: There is no bathroom downstairs in the common area, so you have to go upstairs. The bathrooms have no storage area. It would be nice if the owner installed a shelf below the pedestal sinks to put toiletries, etc. The combination washer/dryer was nice to have, but the dryer did not work very well.
Summary: Lovely flat in the perfect location with amazing sea views!
