Tucked in the woods within view of the summit of Rumbling Bald this four bedroom home is the place to experience a quiet retreat. In this light-filled spacious cabin, there's a place for everyone to rest with a King bed in Bedroom 1, a Queen bed in Bedroom 2, and two Twin beds in each of the other two bedrooms (sleeps up to 12). There's a place to play in the loft area where you can shoot a game of billiards or gather around the game table to play a board game. Head down the spiral staircase to the open living room where you can lounge on two plush sofas for conversing or watching the new 46-inch HD TV. Downstairs there is also a common area with a Queen size futon bed for additional seating and sleeping space!
On cool days or evenings, get cozy beside a fire in the stone fireplace. Even preparing meals will be easy and enjoyable in the fully equipped kitchen featuring professional grade appliances, or you can cook out on the gas grill out on the deck. Dining together is a special event with everyone seated around the unique twelve-foot granite counter. For outdoor fun, there's a complete wrap-around deck from which you can glimpse some of the forest wildlife. An extra treat at the end of a busy day is a soak in the Hot Tub on the deck or the Jacuzzi tub in the Master bathroom. For your convenience, there is a washer and dryer. CANCELLATIONS/TRANSFERS. Requests must be in writing and received by a Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure rental agent. In the event Tenant must cancel this reservation more than 45 day prior to arrival, Tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made, less a cancellation fee of $50.00. Cancellations that occur within 45 to 15 days prior to arrival will be charged a cancellation fee of 25% of the total reservation charges. Cancellations which occur within 14 days of arrival will be subject to a cancellation charge equal to the amount of the reservation. NO refunds will be given for early departures or unused portions of packages.
HOUSEKEEPING SUPPLIES: There is a one-two day starter supply of items such as coffee packets, toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent (where appropriate), shampoo, and soap that has been supplied for your vacation rental. All towels, sheets, and linens are provided for the allowed occupancy number of each unit. There is no housekeeping service provided during your stay. If you run out of any starter supplies, you many purchase these at Apple Valley Market or Ingles Grocery.
