Newly built (2021) cabin on 3.75 acres offers 3 beds, 3 baths, and 3 fireplaces. Relax in the hot tub or porch swing and immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of the rushing creek. Gather at the firepit, play cornhole, and create cherished memories. Explore local restaurants and bars. Nature, comfort, convenience and entertainment blend seamlessly in this idyllic retreat.
Nestled within the breathtaking beauty of this mountainous region it feels remote, but it's close to downtown Blue Ridge, Mercier Orchards, Aska Adventure Area, Old Tacoa Farm Golf Course, Bear Claw Vineyards, McCaysville & more. You will have easy access to stunning trails, scenic viewpoints, and many outdoor recreational activities.
Upon arrival you will be driving on paved roads including the driveway. There is a gravel parking area with room for several cars. Once at the cabin you will enter the property through the screened in porch where you will find the front door as well as a sitting area with a wood fireplace and TV. Off the screened in porch is a large deck with a gas grill, Adirondack chairs, porch swing and outdoor dining table to sit 6-8. You can listen to the creek from the deck while enjoying your meals or playing games.
MAIN LEVEL: dining room table sits 6-8 and 4 at the bar. Kitchen has dishwasher, stove, microwave, refrigerator/freezer with ice maker. Includes dishes, utensils, glasses, and wine glasses. Keurig coffee maker with K-cup and traditional drip coffee capabilities. Assortment of creamers & sugar provided. Kitchen opens to the living area with chairs, sofa, gas fireplace and 70" TV all surrounded by big windows with great views. Also, one bedroom with a king bed, walk-in closet and large bathroom on this level. Bathroom also accessible from the hall. Full size laundry room off kitchen by the bedroom. Security system for keyless entry and alarm system is also next to the front door.
UPSTAIRS: Office nook with desk for anyone working or doing school virtually. Second bedroom with king bed and large 2 sink attached bathroom and walk-in closet. Pack-n-play in the closet.
DOWNSTAIRS: Third bedroom with 2 sets of twin bunks (4 beds total), large bathroom (not attached to bedroom) and living area with sectional, gas fireplace, TV, ping pong table and bar with mini fridge. Cornhole, Giant Jenga, board games & puzzles provided.
All 3 bedrooms, both living rooms, and the front porch have Smart TVs with Dish network. All bathrooms are stocked with towels, toilet paper, complimentary shampoo, soap & conditioner.
Hot tub on outside deck/patio with beach towels provided.
CREEK ACCESS: Private access to creek at bottom of driveway across paved road, 400 steps from house. Room to park if you prefer to drive. There is a house sign with an unlocked gate marking the parking area. Very natural setting with short trails around the creek area. There is a firepit with wood provided. Quiet hours are between 9:00 pm to 10:00 am.
Maximum Permitted Occupancy is 8. Exceeding this will result in a fine from the host of $250 per person over and you will be asked to leave.
This is a non-smoking property. If you smoke inside the home you will be charged $250 as well as an increased cleaning fee and charged for any damages.
The hot tub is use at your own risk. The hosts are not responsible for any injuries that result from the use of the hot tub.
Pets are not allowed. If you sneak in a pet of any kind you will be charged an additional $500 and you will be asked to leave.
No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control.
No late check-out or early check-in.
Rental Age Policy: We require that an adult 25 years or older reserve the home AND be present at the home the entire stay.
Owner's Liability: Guests shall hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Owner against any and all claims of personal injury or property damage or loss arising from use of the property, inclusive of but not limited to the cabin, the hot tub and fire pit, etc. regardless of the nature of the accident, injury or loss.
