Positive: The location was amazing and the house was well accommodating and comfortable. The kitchen was great and having access to the lake was divine.
Negative: Vacasa was terrible - they are just a management company on top of the actual listing, and it's clear they don't pay attention (esp. as they send template emails automatically). Critical components of messages were missing, inconsistency in instructions (one set of instructions says to do X, another set of instructions says not to do X). If you want to rely on a computer, or disengaged staff, to help on your trip, this might be for you. The hot tub was disgusting! What we found was far, far worse than the "browning of the water is just a consequence of a redwood tub".
Summary: The place is wonderful (but I will avoid all Vacasa properties from now on)
