Summary: This place has only been open for 4 months and is not your typical hotel. These are like mini bachelor apartments with a full size fridge, cooking area, etc. Location is 3 blocks from Petco Park for Padres games, and five blocks from gaslamp and restaurants. short uber ride to the SD Zoo and Balboa Park. I took the train down, did a harbor cruise then walked about 30 minutes to the hotel (got my steps in!). Front desk is very friendly and helpful. The building is very secure, they give you a pass code to get into the building after 7 pm and into the elevator and into your room. Good coffee in the lobby. Room is very comfortable. I would stay here again.
