Summary: We had a great 3 days in the Penedes wine region and this townhouse was perfectly situated to explore the area. The home is rustic but comfortable and has a lovely outdoor seating area that catches the morning sun. It is 2 miles off the beaten track so it is very quiet but the main roads are easily accessible. And it should be noted that parking was readily available on the street right out side the front door. The kitchen is compact but workable. As a bonus there is a barbecue for grilling dinner. Being an English/American couple we would have appreciated a tea kettle and a toaster. But those are small items that we were able to work around. Our hostess was friendly and lived nearby so any issues (not that there were any) could be resolved quickly. She spoke no English but it was absolutely no problem as we communicated through our limited Spanish and her effusive gestures. All in all a very pleasant stay.
