Summary: The good: the beach is one of the best in this side of Mexico. Staff are great. Wildlife all over. Great coffee bar and taco shop. Lush grounds. The bad: all adult side rooms have a shared interior door with neighbour. Can hear all coughs, conversations, tv, and things left to your imagination. A/C is old and weak. Loud as heck too. Asked for a quiet room for 40th anniversary. Got a patio at the main garbage. Literally on the same level no break, walk out to the garbage. When we were funneled to the reception 'not time share' desk we were told we were upgraded. Literally a normal standard room, why lie? The terrible: 3 of the 4 of us got food poisoning. We have lived in Africa and Asia, been all over Mexico. We don't have weak stomachs. One person twice. A wedding party with 60 people, 40 the same. I think it was the water jug water or the main buffet. People kept coming to reception complaining about being sick.
