This magical spot offers a private courtyard garden, multiple spots for relaxing, a mermaid fountain, a dreamy outdoor shower, all within walking distance to the heart of Duck's 5-star restaurants and shopping! The beach is 3 houses away and sunsets over the sound are within walking distance.
Perfect for solo retreat, couples get away or for introverts that don't want to stay in the larger homes with 60 family members! This is an ideal spot to start that book or finish that painting! It lends itself to being at peace and letting worldly cares drift out to sea...
Having coffee to the sound of the ocean and being able to see the sun rise and set all on the same street is absolutely unbelievable. If one books during a full moon cycle, the moonrise out of the sea is phenomenal. Stargazing is at its best in Duck as the town has a light ordinance, so don't miss the star action on your walk back from one of the many outdoor music venues along Duck Rd.
This is a downstairs 1 room studio, open space, so no steps, yay, however you may hear footsteps, but we are very respectful of our guests!
There are a few community cats (2) that wander through the Garden, and hummingbirds throughout during the Summer.
This cool spot is surrounded by nature, with Gardens and live oak trees, there are native pollinators, birds and interesting insects, so nature nuts will really enjoy this area, please be advised that it is a natural habitat, and the outer banks has bugs and insects...
The only issue we've ever had is people never want to leave!!!
*(please note that, over the winter, 3 offshore hurricanes destroyed most beach access steps. Ours are being rebuilt in March. There is access approximately 1 block south).
