Our goal at Secord Memories is just that- we want you to take your own memories back home with you! The setup of our place is very unique, it has the main cottage and a bonus detached guest house. One could say it's a two for one! Both places are newly decorated in cozy warm décor. The cottage has a fully stocked kitchen, Direct tv satellite in the living room, master bedroom with king sized bed plus second bedroom has a full bed and a twin. All towels and linens are provided. The cottage sleeps six ( an addition 2 double sleeper sofas..One is located inthe living room, the other in the new added sunroom,) In the kitchen is a frig with water and ice located on the door, dishwasher ,stove and microwave. All pots and pans, dishes and utensils included. All you have to bring is your food. The second bedroom has a DVD TV, and a few family movies . Please bring along any others you might want to watch. For your comfort the place has central heat and AC. You will find a full bath in the cottage and a newly added one in he guest houseThere is no land line phone but a brand new cell tower less than a mile away. The guest house, which is located directly behind the cottage sleeps 3 adults. It has a queen sized bed and a double size sleeper sofa. A complete kitchen and a full bathroom with a 5 ft walk in shower now make our guests stay more comfortable. A TV with a DVD player and a PS2 including many games is in also located here for our guests to use . The laundry room can be found in this area too, along with an ironing board and iron. Inside this building is a storage area which is open to our guests. Three bicycles and many fishing poles along with family outside games are located here. Plus, if you find the need , a workbench with basic tools is available to you. This building also has a furnace and a window air conditioner for your comfort. Outside you will enjoy our wonderful views we have supplied a gas grill and two picnic tables and a fire pit for campfires.( we will supply your campfire wood)We have added a swing so you can relax and enjoy the breath taking views of Secord Lake. To get into the Secord fun you will have full use of a 21 foot pontoon boat with a 9.9 trolling motor( the boat rental is a small additional cost but we supply 10 gallons of gas) , a 4 seater paddle boat(life jackets supplied )2 kayaks plus dock space to bring your own boat. Secord Memories is a waterfront home located on 90 miles of Secord Lake. That's a lot of miles to bank those memories! One of the favorite spots on the lake is the sandbar . Boats normally anchor the boats and spend hours swimming, playing water games and meeting others. It's a great time for all! For our guests that enjoy walks , the road views are just as pretty as the water views. Hunters will be thrilled that state land can be found just 3 miles from Secord Memories. We have been working very hard to improve the landscape and hope our guests are as pleased as we are with the results. Please join us and be prepared to take your own memories home.
