The beach at Noosaville is a mere 10-minutes drive in one direction, the famous Eumundi Markets are just a 10-minute drive in the other direction and Sunshine Coast airport is just 25 minutes away.
From the moment you arrive at Palmyra and drive through the grounds, and across the wooden bridge over the creek, it is as though you have entered a new world. Completely hidden from everything, this glorious home emerges through the trees with its white walls, winding veranda, transcendent water ponds and restful garden.
Shrouded in complete privacy and framed by glorious verdant rainforest, you and your guests will have all your senses delighted. The sounds of birdsong, wind between the trees and the smells and sights of the abundant nature is pure serenity. Custom-designed with a gatehouse, interconnected pavilions, covered walkways and expansive verandahs, this single level home is thoughtfully designed to embrace its surroundings and host lavish events.
The Balinese style home boasts a grand main bedroom with dramatic high ceilings, one of two stunning Turkish chandeliers and a lavish king bed against a freestanding, central wall. With abundant dressing space there is plenty of room to spread out and get ready. This leads to a splendid ensuite, with a tranquil view onto the surrounding courtyard. Just outside the bedroom is a seating area and sauna room.
The main bedroom looks out onto the heated 20 metre infinity-style pool, overlooking the magical rainforest around a winding creek. Two gazebos are well positioned at either end of the pool where guests can appreciate the natural beauty.
The central entertaining and living room is both opulent and comfortable. With the high ceiling holding the Turkish chandelier above the banquet-style 14 seat table, this is the ultimate dining experience. The gorgeous, exposed brick fireplace, sensational artwork and high attention to detail throughout the space is a feast for the eyes. There is also an additional 14 seat table on the verandah.
The fully equipped kitchen is sectioned off by an island wall and has a spacious separate pantry. A unique shower room can be accessed from the verandah through an authentic Asian-style door with figures on either side.
Over the other side to the main bedroom are 3 beautifully styled queen bedrooms, showcasing ample original artwork and traditional Asian furniture. Two huge shower rooms mirror each other at opposite ends showcasing more authentic doorways and both looking out into private and serene courtyards. Between the rooms, there is a plush outdoor bed and hammock, offering a divine meditation space. These grand bedrooms face towards the central, manicured lawn with a delightful feature pond.
A second home is connected to the first by a covered 25 metre walkway. Here you will find more spell binding windows, doors, furniture and art from from Bali. Enter the open living space with impressive stone and wooden flooring and exposed beam ceiling. There is seating for 6 in the dining area and outside undercover. A huge corner sofa and armchair offer ample space for all guests to spread out in the lounge room. A new, fully equipped kitchen is partially separated by a low wall.
Along the hallway, is 3 roomy King bedrooms each able to be split into twin beds. A separate toilet and contemporary charcoal tiled bathroom with walk-in shower are shared by the bedrooms. Off the living space and through magical doors is a luxurious open aired bathroom with shower and stunning freestanding bath. This room offers an unrivalled and enchanting bathing experience.
