FREE Village Club - Our family has full membership to the Village Club which our guests have access to. (not all properties do). Pool, tennis & basketball courts, Trout Ponds, Community Center and various activities available to our guests.
FREE Trash Removal - At the end of your stay, you leave your trash on our property and we take away for you. Since there is no garbage service within the community, many properties require the guest to haul off their own trash to the local dump after a stay.
FREE Personal Touch - We personally manager our own properties. Unlike other "Management Companies", you will be dealing directly with us the home owners. This cozy cabin retreat is tucked away on 1.5 acres of woods just 40 minutes north of Asheville in the gated Wolf Laurel community. From your lodging, you will have access to the serene woods of the Blue Ridge Mountains as well as the amenities of the gated community. You'll also have easy access to visit the quaint, nearby university town of Mars Hill and the happening city of Asheville with awesome restaurants, microbreweries, and music/art scene.
**We welcome up to 2 well-behaved pet dogs with guest bookings. Pets must be indicated with the booking. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds. Guests are responsible to clean up any pet waste.

We are open all year round and some of the most beautiful times to visit us is in the winter with a fresh snowfall. The roads within Wolf Laurel, as well as our driveway, really do require four-wheel drive in winter months.
The Wolf Laurel community has paved roads most of the way to our home, but the final few miles are on dirt and gravel roads.
The home includes a spacious living area to gather around the rock fireplace and enjoy meals prepared in the fully stocked kitchen. The master bedroom has a king bed, a second bedroom offers a queen bed with gorgeous views straight into the woods. The third bedroom includes a double bed, plus two twin beds. There are also two full bathrooms. An expansive, raised deck puts you right in the midst of the forest as you feel the stresses of the city fade away.
If you're looking to enjoy nature, the community has a private access trail to hike up to Big Bald and there are several points where you can connect to the Appalachian Trail. You can even hike directly from our property and connect with some excellent trails.
In the winter, Wolf Ridge Ski Resort is just 2.5 miles (10 min) away and offers skiing and snowboarding. If you're staying during summer, the area offers rafting, tubing, zip lining, and horseback riding at the nearby Wolf Laurel Stables. Wildlife is everywhere; with deer, turkey, and other birds regularly seen within the community.
The Wolf Laurel Community offers amenities within the Village Club and you will be provided a guest pass. Village club activities and amenities are typically available from late from May to the end of October. These include access to the pool, tennis courts, yoga, exercise classes, Tai Chi, water fitness, pot luck socials and more.
If you choose to venture out, the town of Mars Hill (25 minutes) has restaurants, groceries, and your Starbucks fix. A bit further, Weaverville (35 minutes) and Asheville (45 mins) offers tons of fantastic dining, coffee, microbreweries, and a happening art/music scene.
