Secluded riverfront chalet on the Delaware. This is a beautiful house right on the Delaware River on a quiet street in a quiet town about an hour from NYC and Philly.
A riverfront oasis high on the banks of the Delaware, you will soak in the natural surroundings of this gorgeous chalet perched 50 feet above the majestic Delaware River.
The space
The living area comprises an open concept kitchen, dining, and living space all sharing sweeping views through the floor to ceiling windows, revealing the natural beauty of Whipporwill Island nestled in the middle of the flowing water. Gather around the large kitchen island, sit down in the adjacent dining area, or enjoy the coziness of the living room fireplace, all with soaring cathedral ceilings.
The huge first floor bedroom has it's own full bath and a cedar closet, plus access to the laundry room. Upstairs the equally large master suite boasts another full bath and sitting area. Step outside from the kitchen and dining area onto a wooden deck then down to the slate patio, both shaded by mature trees giving you a chance to feel the refreshing breeze coming off the water.

Summary: Not safe or private access to do fishing etc. Don’t expect total privacy. Lots of excess room that could be used to accommodate more people. Otherwise very enjoyable.
