Positive: The location was perfect, right in the heart of the Village of Lakka. I really enjoyed sitting on the balcony, relaxing like the locals and enjoying the smells coming from the kitchens of the nonna's. I felt right at home in the apartment which was very clean (i used to be a housekeeping manager & the apt was well up to my standards). It was truly a home away from home and I felt sad when it was time to leave. Kostas was a great manager assisting me with ferry info, transport to & from the port, providing info that I needed during my stay (groceries, activities etc) and even came to my rescue when i thought the power had gone out but had just forgot to put the key tag in the slot when I got home that day!! Apparently there are regulars that book the apartment for their annual holidays to Paxos - i think i will have to become one of them! (Also being able to do some hand washing using the tub was very handy and it gave me a chuckle when I got to hang my washing out like a local - note to self, wring clothes out well when there are people in the apartment below 🤭)
