Make yourself at home in Oyster Cottage. This charming beach cottage in Old Seagrove is in a fabulous location south of 30A, next to Eastern Lake and just steps from the Eastern Lake Beach Access. Enjoy partial gulf/ocean views in this 3BR/2BA fully updated house.
Ideal for families, Oyster Cottage sleeps up to 7 people (no pets please). Located on Eastern Lake Road, this property allows privacy while still being in the middle of all the fun and shopping. The Eastern Lake beach access offers three acres of wide public beach to enjoy only steps from Oyster Cottage. We are just 2.5mi from Seaside to the west and 6mi from Rosemary to the east.
As you enter the property you will find covered parking and two screened in areas for relaxation. The laundry room and additional refrigerator are enclosed and located on the ground level. Up the stairs you'll find a large screened porch with partial views of the beautiful gulf. Enjoy your morning coffee or favorite cocktail while listening to the sounds of the waves!
Once you enter the home, on the 1st floor, you will find a very comfortable and open living, dining and kitchen space. The living area contains ample seating as well as a new 55-inch flat screen TV. The kitchen has a new stainless steel refrigerator, range and dishwasher as well as new granite countertops, pantry and kitchen island. It is fully stocked with everything you could think of, including an oyster knife! This floor includes a king bedroom with adjacent, shared bathroom.
The top floor has a queen bedroom with a flat screen TV plus a bunkroom with three built-in twin beds and a wall-mounted TV. A full bath is between the two bedrooms.
Access to the beach and the natural tidal basin off Eastern Lake is PERFECT for the whole family and only 2 minutes from driveway. This is one of the prettiest locations in South Walton.

Summary: We have always loved the Eastern Lake beach access because it tends to be a bit less crowded. The kids love the shallow area of the lake to skim board & if you have young children it’s a safe spot for them to play. The house is an easy walk to the beach. The host responded immediately to answer any questions & the home was very comfortable. We would definitely go back
