2 Bedroom Condo in Bois d'Orange, Rodney Bay
Wake up each morning to the sounds of the birds in this secluded location minutes from the beach. Enjoy your breakfast on the front porch before taking a walk along the beach. We always enjoy a swim in the warm ocean and then head to the pool for another swim followed by relaxation on one of the lounge chairs.
The condo is a ground floor 2 bedroom condo (approximately 1100 sq. ft). It is located about a 100 meter walk from St. Lucia's most famous beach and a 5 minute walk to numerous restaurants, malls, banks, grocery stores and a casino. You can easily enjoy the nightlife of Rodney Bay and walk back to the apartment. You do not need to rent a car for your stay, however parking in front of the building is available if you have a vehicle.
Our unit has 2 newly installed (March 2017) air conditioners in the bedrooms, a comfortable veranda with table and 4 chairs and a good sized pool. The bedrooms each have large closets for storage and queen beds. The living area has a sofa, love seat and chair for your comfort as well as a television with cable. A large selection of channels are available. The dining room table can comfortable seat 5 and there are 2 barstools at the breakfast bar. The kitchen, though small is equipped with a propane stove, fridge with freezer, coffee pot, kettle, toaster and blender. A washer is also available and clothes lines are provided at the far end of the building. Free Wifi is also available in the condo.
As previously mentioned, the location of the condo is superb. There are many tour operators within walking distance if you would like to book an outing. We have enjoyed the trips to Soufriere to see the Pitons on a variety of tours (catamaran, driving, hiking). We always visit Pigeon Island to hike and snorkel and love the excellent food at the local restaurant. Bus transportation is very inexpensive, safe and easy to use. We have taken the bus to Castries to shop at the local market and visit the Duty Free shops, to the Marina for coffee or drinks, or to the Friday Night Street Party in Gros Islet.
We are also able to help you out should you require transportation from the airport. We have a regular driver who is completely familiar with the building and has driven us on many occasions. He is a very safe driver and most reliable.
