Our Matanzas Beach House is an amazing mix of the old charm and the new modern updates. It is positioned between the beautiful Matanzas Inlet Beach and the Intracoastal Waterway.
It is listed in the historical magazine of St Augustine. It is a sprawling property with so much natural beauty all around. There are paths, fountains, a beach tower for viewing and a large swing for relaxing after a day at the beach or fishing in the intracoastal. You can literally walk across A 1 A south and you are on the spectacular white sandy beach. There are two very large barn doors for access that keeps the property private and secure. The property is two lots with a separate listing on the second lot a 2019 airstream VRBO # ...you can book both for an additional 155 per nite.
The house features two platform queen bedrooms and a loft queen . There is also a single bed swing in the large living room for additional sleeping or relaxing. There is one large double sink bath with tub shower and also a private hot cold shower outside for additional private showering.
We keep the guest total at six but there is parking for four vehicles/ boat and or water toys.
The linens are top of the line along with everything you will need in the kitchen and outdoors so you will be exceedingly comfortable and happy.
I personally go to this beach house to relax and hang with best friends. There is great private gathering area behind the cottage with a proper cover so you can sit and relax on comfy furniture after a day of fun. There is also a hot tub for 18 and older guests on the property.

Summary: Sea Horse Haven is a Jem, our host Mr. O'Toole was the BEST! Easy check in and he was very attentive. The house was equipped with anything and everything you could possibly need. Having a washer and dryer made it handy to wash towels and wet clothing from the beach. The outdoor shower was one of the best features of our stay, (next to the beach) it made it so easy for all of us after playing on the beach. The walk to the beach was short and very doable we used a wagon and backpack chairs, morning walks on the beach is a must, so peaceful!There is an Airstream on the property that was available to rent nightly if we had gotten any extra family in, however we did great with the main house there is ample room on the property. The outside area was natural and comfortable with lots of sitting areas to chill. We all loved this location and will definitely return. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.
