Scenic Sedona Private Studio with Pool & Hot Tub | House in Sedona

Escape to our private studio guest suite in Sedona, where you'll stay cool in the summer & be 5-10 minutes from Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, the Chapel, and Tlaquepaque. You’ll have shared access to our pool, hot tub & patio. Your suite has a kitchenette, lots of natural light from big windows & a 65-inch smart TV.
As your hosts, we're a married couple w/ a dog, we stay at the home above the suite during fall & winter or rent out the property in summer. We want you to have an exceptional stay!
We lived in this cozy studio while the remodeling of the rest of the property was ongoing. During that stay, we indulged ourselves in making the space as comfortable as possible. See the details below!
Private Studio w/ bathroom (below the main house, separate entrance)

The Pool & Hot Tub
- Pool Heating: typically heated to 70 degrees daily between 12pm - 4pm. You can request to heat it at a higher temperature or outside of these hours for $50 per day. The requested pool heating cannot start before 7:00 AM, but we cannot guarantee that it will reach the desired temperature soon after that. The end time is no later than 9:00 PM (the heat stays on for some time after heating stops).
- The Hot Tub is available 24/7: just be mindful of quiet hours and outdoor music hours
- Kindly Note: the way our equipment works is that the pool and hot tub can only be heated one at a time. If you request to heat the pool, the system will focus on heating the pool.
- Because pool & hot tub access is shared with other guests, we can't guarantee to accept all heating requests to ensure it doesn't conflict with other guests' access

Feel good knowing that when booking with us, your enjoyment is solar-powered. We installed solar panels to do our part in minimizing our footprint while offering the level of hospitality we want to provide you, such as low fees for pool heating during the cold season.
About the Rest of the Property
Above the same building is the main house where our family typically stays and right beside it is a pool. On the other side of the property, detached from the building, is the Casita or guesthouse that we also rent out. Please check out our other listings on the platform.
Parking
- The dedicated parking space for the Studio is the carport, which can fit up to 1 compact SUV and 1 sedan or smaller car.
- This space cannot accommodate trailers, RV's, or trailer trucks for parking.
Host Interaction
We have always lived in homes and communities shared with local and international travelers and we enjoy opening our homes in Sedona and Lake Tahoe to those who want to experience the great outdoors. We always default into giving guests their space, but we're happy to connect about tips and local recommendations or answer any messages or questions via the booking platform.
We aim to assist with questions as soon as possible. If you reach out on the app between 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM, we do our best to get back to you as soon as possible at 8:00 AM onwards. If you need urgent assistance, please give Psyche a call.

Getting Around
In Sedona, you will need a car to get around. On weekends, especially on holidays, parking is limited or restricted at popular trails and tourist spots so we recommend checking out the free local shuttle. You can also send us a message to ask for some tips!

Upon Reservation:
We'll request for you to sign a rental agreement and a copy of a government photo ID. After signing, you will receive the smart lock door code on the day before your check-in. Noted in the agreement is that we do a $200 security deposit pre-authorization on your card upon check-in. It is automatically released in 7 days if rules are followed and there are no issues at the house after checkout.
Never Leave Food or Trash Outside
Sedona is filled with wildlife. One of our rules is to never leave any food trash outside the house. Please keep them inside. If they have to be taken outside, make sure to keep them in the trash bin and lock it with the cable system at all times.
No Smoking Inside: Absolutely no smoking inside the house.
No Pets Allowed
Sorry, but we’re allergic to cats and we don’t have the capacity yet to host other animals on the property.
Wildlife Reminder
Our most common wild visitors are javelinas, deer, and coyotes. Please do not approach javelinas and make sure to give them space. They come in packs and will attack if they feel any one of them is threatened. They do not run away easily, especially when they smell food. Javelinas will attempt to knock over trash bins and scatter trash everywhere. You can make loud noises to scare them away, such as honking your car horn or banging a cooking pot. Do not harm javelinas - they are creatures protected by the local regulation.

Quiet Hours (8:00 pm - 7:00 am): Sound travels easily in this desert neighborhood. No loud music outdoors. To be considerate of neighbors, please keep noise and sound to a minimum and STRICTLY no music after 8:00 pm, especially while outside the house, at the pool, or on the deck. Disruptive noise and neighborhood nuisance puts our rental permit at risk. The first incident report or notification from our noise monitoring device or a neighborhood complaint shall get a first warning. A second incident report or notification from our noise monitoring device or neighborhood complaint more than 30 minutes after the first warning will automatically incur a $200 penalty. A third incident report or notification from our noise monitoring device or neighborhood complaint more than 30 minutes after the second report or complaint shall warrant an eviction without a refund.
Smoking: We are a non-smoking home. Smoking is STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED inside. You can smoke outside the house or on the decks with doors and windows closed to keep smoke out. Please make sure to use the provided ashtray to help keep the area clean. Reports of smoke inside the house through our detectors or house cleaners shall incur a $2000 penalty fee.
Guests: If you're thinking about inviting friends over, please reach out and ask us. We're easygoing about inviting a couple of friends over for brunch or dinner, but we want to be considerate of other neighbors in case you are thinking of inviting more than a couple of friends.
Kitchen: When checking out, please wash all used pots, pans, kitchen knives, and other kitchen items.
