On entering the beautiful cabin, amenities abound including the classics like a gas log fireplace, traditional cabin décor, treasured books, plush sofas, rockers as well as the modern touches like Wi-Fi access and a flat screen TV in the great room. 'A Tranquil Place' delivers with a Master Bedroom with King size bed, flat screen TV, and a full bath off the great room on the cabin’s main level. In the sleeping loft, guests will find a bunk room with a twin over full bunk, a queen room, and a shared bath, as well as living space with two recliners, a flat screen TV with DVD & VCR, and plenty of board games for family fun. A washer and dryer are also on site (exterior access in partially finished basement).
The wind chimes on the back porch beckon guest outside to the picturesque view overlooking the creek. The porch boasts a porch swing, rockers, Adirondacks, and a gas grill, overlooking the creek. Amid the cabin’s large natural rock formations, the pathway to the creek is complete with stairs for easy access while exploring. Guests can fish in Fightingtown Creek from the Cabin’s natural rock formations. The front porch also offers rockers, a swing, and a picnic table, perfect for relaxing and enjoying all nature has to offer. Down by the creek, there is a creek side swing, firepit (guests supply firewood), and Adirondacks.
A Tranquil Place is sure to stand out as one of the most relaxing retreats ever, only minutes from white water rafting on the Ocoee River, tubing with outfitters on the Toccoa, and horseback riding. The cabin, while enjoying the privacy of a small, gated community, is also in easy access to the convenience of shopping and dining in Downtown Blue Ridge, GA or the twin cities of McCaysville, GA and Copperhill, TN.
Please note: This cabin can be rough drives when there has been a lot of rainfall. NO 4WD REQUIRED.
