Perfectly positioned for boating down the Trent Severn Waterway or just watching the boats go by while relaxing on the dock, this cozy Ontario cottage rental is perfect for enjoying the summer days along the water, a fire at night or a convenient spot to go on day trips in the area with lots of great activities to do in Eastern Ontario. It's only a short distance from plenty of activities and shopping in beautiful historic towns like Campbellford, Brighton or Belleville (30 minute drive). Take a day trip to beautiful Prince Edward County and arrange for a winery tour or check out the beaches and trails at Sandbanks Provincial Park (1 hour away)! Only a 2 hour drive from Toronto, Savi by the River is a perfect getaway for families and couples that are looking for that traditional cottage experience with peace and relaxation, beautiful views, and a large backyard with a patio, perfect for a family barbeque or a nighttime campfire!
As you enter the cottage, you are greeted to an open space - a beautiful, gleaming kitchen and living room. In the kitchen, you will find a spacious island that serves as both a perfect spot for meal prep and a convenient dining table, capable of seating 6 people. The living room includes two futons, which can also act as beds, and a Smart TV (with unlimited Wi-Fi and HDMI port) for groups to enjoy their favourite TV show or a late-night movie. The kitchen is fully-equipped (no dishwasher) and includes all of the necessary utensils and accessories to make a large family meal for the group.
The main cottage has 1 bedroom with a queen bed and two futons that can be found in the living room for additional sleeping. The Bunkie has a bunk-bed with a double bed on the bottom and single bed on top.
Facing the river, the back deck features beautiful views of the water, a large umbrella and several Muskoka chairs. You'll also find plenty of seating on the lawn, with a picnic table, lounger and additional Muskoka chairs to enjoy the waterfront view while sipping on your morning coffee. The backyard includes a large firepit right on the water. The large grass lawn leads to the dock, with plenty of docking space and a ladder. The cottage also includes a canoe, two kayaks, 2 fishing rods, and 1 Stand Up Paddleboard, as well as an assortment of floaties and lifejackets in varying sizes.
The cottage provides you with a comfortable place to stay while you explore the waterway, the shops and attractions in Trenton and Campbellford, and many nearby parks and attractions, including the Hoard Station Salebarn, Sterling Theatre, Ferris Provincial Park, Bleasdell Boulder Conservation Area and Quinte Botanical Gardens. With so many things to do in Eastern Ontario, you'll never run out of things to do at, and around, this cottage rental.

The waterfront is weedy, and less well suited for swimming off the dock due to the weeds, but is great for boating and fishing. The dock has a ladder, providing easy access into the water, and there's plenty of docking space to bring your own boat!
