Summary: I'll start with the good: the location is fantastic. It is literally beach-front and you walk out your door onto the beach which is lovely. The water is warm and blue and there's good snorkeling right from the beach. The beds were comfy and the inside overall was nice.The problem, and it was a big one, is that the power was out in the resort for 8 hours one day and several hours other days and the resort doesn't have backup generators. While in general this isn't a huge problem if you're not inside, it is a problem if you want to take a shower with hot water or sleep with air conditioning. I messaged the host who assured me that power would be back soon but that night the power did not come back on until after midnight. It was so uncomfortable that we considered booking a hotel elsewhere that night so we could sleep with air conditioning. Unfortunately, until they figure their electricity situation out, I would not stay here again.
