Summary: My stay at the Sapphire hotel was dull, the service was less than inviting, the management didn’t tell us about their policy of “no visitors”, the hotel employees didn’t show much interest in helping when we needed extra toiletries because the room was empty. Upon booking the room, none of the policies stated prior were on the site or in any description. Our visitors were not staying but we were implored to have them leave or else we’d pay the consequence. Apart from that the room was barely clean, the floors were sticky as if they weren’t mopped or swept, the bathroom had mold all over the base of the tub, the shower head was filthy, there were broken tiles in the shower, even the faucet was grimy and had hair. Nothing in the room was dusted, I.e. coffee pot, shelves, drawers, bed frame, desk, vents in ac unit. The bedding and mattress were dirty, which poses an issue since my wife has allergies. Overall a poor experience with the hotel staff but at least the room was in a mildly sleepable condition.
