The Santilaria farmhouse is situated on the top of a small hill in the middle of a large farm in the Crete Senesi. The landscape surrounding the property is characterized by the gentle rolling hills that alternate between farmed fields and small wood groves. Absolute peace and quiet and in the evening, as if appearing out of thin air, small deer graze undisturbed in the fields. At sunset, the soft colors of the land invite photo enthusiasts to capture the unique landscape on their cameras. In 2015 the house was renovated and was turned into a delightful comfortable holiday home. In the meadow that surrounds the house you will find the swimming pool (10x3) (01/05-30/09 open from 09.00 am to 8.00 pm) and a shaded terrace with table and chairs for outdoor dining. The accommodation is a pleasant destination for a family with children who can play freely outdoors. In addition to the city of Siena, you can also visit the many other famous towns and villages in the area, such as Pienza and Montalcino, home of the famous Brunello wine. The Via Cassia, which traces the route of the ancient Roman road, is a few kilometers away and, considering the beautiful landscape, it offers splendid views when driving along it from Chianti to Florence. Included in the price: 3 hours of cleaning 2 days per week. On request: extra hours of maid service, a cook, cooking classes, massages. The accommodation has central heating and free Wi-Fi.
