Summary: I would like to give a very detailed review of this location, but the character limitations of this form will not allow that. So this means it will seem like I have only negative things to say, when in reality, the home overall was very comfortable and beautiful. But we were obviously the first guests to stay during very hot weather. The downstairs bedroom was unusable, because it is a converted garage with no air conditioning. We almost had to go get a hotel room for our family members who were staying in that space, but instead we purchased a portable air conditioner that we used for the duration of our stay. The homeowner must install a window air conditioning unit in that converted garage area as it is unusable in the summer. The home also needs to be fumigated for bugs. I'm sure this was not a problem when the weather was cold, but now that the weather is hot, we encountered many spiders and other bugs. Several members of our party had spiders literally crawl across their legs while they were sitting in chairs in the living room. This needs to be dealt with. The water pressure in the house is very low. Those of us with long hair had a difficult time washing our hair due to pour water pressure – at the very least, the owner should install stronger showerheads that can be adjusted. The kitchen is beautiful, the air worked well in other parts of the house, and we would stay again if it wasn't in the summer.
