Positive: We really appreciated the house's proximity to the beach, because we did walk. It’s $12 parking at the beach. The house comfortably accommodated five of us and our pets. The pool was lovely, featuring nice ambient lighting. They provided pool floaties, beach gear, including kids' toys, and a basic starter kit (dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags). We used the patio table every day, and the kitchen was well-stocked with seasonings (left by previous guests), dishes, small appliances, and pots and pans.
Negative: We experienced poor communication from the time of booking until our arrival regarding basic amenities, such as the number of beach chairs available. We were only informed about this two hours before arrival. Upon entering the property, we found it dusty and were asked if it would be fair to refund the cleaning fee to have their cleaner work for free. The home showed signs of neglect, including scuff marks on the walls and an outdoor TV that didn't work (though they did come to fix the lights). Additionally, no propane was provided for the grill, which should have been included given the price we paid; they charge double for a tank. Heating the hot tub costs an extra $50 per day, and the hot tub was closed for the season—a detail that should have been communicated beforehand. The biggest disappointment was that the golf cart provided was not street legal.
