Sandy Jandals is more than just a beach bach. With 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 living areas including a rumpus and eat in kitchen this home has many areas to cater for guests and for those who need a bit of R&R. Enjoy the water view, many decks and outdoor areas for entertaining or soaking in the Northland sunshine. We offer a full kitchen with all utensils and appliances. Tea and coffee are provided. There are three lounging areas to relax in, a large downstairs rumpus where you can enjoy many of our board games provided, a place to watch Netflix and unwind after a day at the beach with the BBQ in the courtyard. With three bedrooms, a shared bunk bed and two bathrooms, Sandy Jandals has enough room to comfortably accomodate families and groups friends for the whole summer! Situated in Tapeka, Sandy Jandals is just a two minute stroll to the ocean. You have the choice of Tapeka Point Beach or Rocky Bay. Swim out to the pontoon and sunbath at the beach, or head to the rocks to catch one of the Bay’s famous snapper for dinner. Keen boaters will be happy to know that Tapeka boat ramp is situated just down the road, giving you immediate access to the bays prime fishing spots or nearby islands for a day of scenic beach and island hopping. Explore what Russell has to offer by venturing through the many walkways and tracks on the peninsula or hop in a kayak and paddle your way around. On the way, you can spot our resident wildlife, the weka, chicken and two ducks roaming about gardens during the day and listen out for the calls of the iconic kiwi at night. Sandy Jandals is a short drive to Russell town, over the hill through Tapeka Road. Here you can discover the history of New Zealand's oldest settlement, before conveniently retreating over the hill to seclusion and serenity of Tapeka Point.
