Summary: Staying in this home is special - a completely private retreat, right by Petco Park and the Gas Lamp District, with unbelievable views from every room. It is really comfortable – a near new, modern, well-furnished, spacious interior, with high ceilings, a great kitchen & appliances… and the best on-site amenities. Pool with a view, access to a great gym, game room, ping pong, pool and video games. We cannot say enough about the experience of being in this location…it really felt to us as if we totally unplugged and left the US for a few days. You are right across from Petco Park –we walked over and took in a night game and casually walked back afterwards and enjoyed having no traffic or parking hassles. The next morning, we took our time, walked over the pedestrian bridge, up along the Bay, past the Convention Center to Seacoast Village for a great breakfast on the water. We walked through & shopped at Seacoast, then continued up towards the aircraft carrier, through the cool Waterfront Park, to the Italian District for a beer, then back down through the Gas Lamp to Petco and home. After a short rest…we were off to the pool! Thalia was a great responsive host who replied quickly to our inquiries and questions, and helped us to feel at home from the time we walked in the door. We plan to come back and enjoy this wonderful peaceful place often. Thanks for a great relaxing vacation!
