Welcome to Black Dog Chalet, a beautiful dog friendly vacation rental home in Ronald WA! Filled with designer touches and custom upgrades, you feel relaxed and pampered as soon as you walk trough the doors. We are located just minutes from downtown Roslyn and CleElum, and only 30 minutes from charming Ellensburg. The luxuries of the Suncadia Resort are also just 10 minutes away! We are a 2100 SF private home on 2.5 wooded acres, located just across highway 903 from the Roslyn Ridge community. It is the best of both worlds: close to everything, yet with a large lot for privacy. Black Dog Chalet sleeps 12, with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a large loft set up as another king sized suite. Walk in on the main floor mud room, and just down the hall you will enter the great room. Here you can cook in the fully stocked kitchen designed with quartz countertops and a custom subway backsplash. You bring the food, the appetite, and the chef! We have the rest covered. The adjacent living and dining area features floor to ceiling windows overlooking the firepit and wooded grounds, and the focal point is a beautiful floor to ceiling rock fireplace... Relax on the leather sectional with a glass of wine, or watch DirecTV or Netflix on the flat screen mounted over the mantel. Just the right combination of rustic and luxurious! The home is elegantly furnished with custom pieces, many from local designers and craftsman. Downstairs, you and your friends and family can relax in comfort in the generously sized family/recreation room complete with a 55" flat screen TV, plenty of seating, a second fireplace in the form of a cozy propane "woodstove" and even a vintage style arcade video game table! Play Pacman, Centipede or Frogger (there are too many choices to name!), watch football, enjoy a DVD from our collection, play darts or a board game, or read one of the many books. Later just take a few steps out the back door and take a dip in the hot tub. Need we say more? But wait... there IS more! Prepare dinner on the BBQ, or sit around our stone firepit and seating area while you sip wine, roast marshmallows, or play Cornhole. Of course we are set up with wifi and DirecTV as well! So get away from it all, or keep up with everything. The choice is yours... For your comfort, each bedroom is tastefully and thoughtfully appointed and decorated. The main floor master has a king sized bed and ensuite full bath, and is decorated in a modern lodge theme. Across the hall is the guest room with a queen sized bed, conveniently located just a few steps from the powder room. Go down the staircase through the family room, and you will find the bunk room. With its kitschy chalet style, a second ensuite full bath, and two sets of bunks (one twin over twin, and another full over full) this room can sleep 6. It is fun for kids, yet comfortable for the adults as well. Go back upstairs to the loft, and you will be greeted by our favorite room. The generous loft is furnished with a king sized bed and custom headboard, local art, dresser, and flat screen TV with DVD player! In fact, there was so much room we added a seating area, just perfect for taking in the territorial views, or relaxing with a beverage. There is even a Bose CD player and stereo. Pick your favorite of our CDs and flood the main floor with quality sound. But no vacation home would be complete without spectacular surroundings and plenty to do in the area. The scenery of the Central Cascades is glorious. You can see mountain peaks out our living room window. Check out our visitor's manual for golf, horseback riding, or wine tasting options just minutes away. The area is renowned for great hiking, fishing and boating as well. In the winter months you are 20 -30 minutes from ski resorts, or snowshoe and cross country ski right out the door. There is no better place to snowmobile or sled, and you can even book a ride on a horse drawn sleigh... Dr Zhivago comes to life right here in Washington State! We like to think Black Dog Chalet offers a little something for everyone. Even our four footed guests! We come stocked with dog beds, dog toys, bowls, and fun for all.
