This cozy 3 bedroom 2 bathroom vacation cabin (great for families desiring quality time together, couples looking for a romantic getaway, church staff retreats, or even small corporate staff retreats) comes complete with a screened porch with porch swing, an extra large shaded deck for grilling, relaxing, and entertaining, a spacious dock for relaxing in the sun, and a fully enclosed boat house & boat slip for those who'd like to bring their boat to enjoy one of the best fish and sport lakes in Alabama. Enjoy cooking in the spacious newly UPDATED eat kitchen with stainless appliances including a double oven, stand alone ice maker, dishwasher, and large sink with granite counter tops. Cabin comes equipped with washer and dryer and gas fireplace with gas logs. Lake Mitchell is located approximately half way between Birmingham and Montgomery in the center of Alabama. It is part of the Coosa River chain between Lake Jordan and Lay Lake. The majority of Lake Mitchell is wildlife protected, and is one of the few lakes on the chain that is not flood controlled. The water level remains stable all year round, with the exception of a relatively small drop of about 4-8 feet every few years for dam maintenance. Lake Mitchell supports high densities of sport fish. However, swimming and boating are just as popular as fishing in warm weather. Come and enjoy tranquility leaving your cares behind!
