Ruby Retreat is a beautiful listed detached farmhouse in a secluded wildlife setting in the quiet hamlet of Bolenowe near the historic mining town of Redruth. There is a garden with two fields across the road where dogs can be exercised. Ideal for walks and cycling. Ruby Retreat is a spacious grade 2 listed stone built cottage in an idyllic location with the beginnings of the red river running through the bottom of the large wildlife friendly garden with large private ponds. The retreat is a relaxing retreat from the stresses of everyday life yet within easy reach of the North and South Coasts and is centrally for exploring. This part of Cornwall boasts many sub tropical gardens and Falmouths maritime museum is only 12 miles away. Stithians reservoir is a few miles east offering windsurfing canoeing, sailing and angling along with childrens play area and cafe. There is also horse riding locally and golf courses. The cottage has many period features including a comfortable lounge with traditional cornish range, large family kitchen and two further sitting rooms one with wood burner. The property has master bedroom with king size bed and ensuite shower room, double room, two twin bedrooms and large family bathroom with bath and shower. There is a large front garden and parking to rear for a few vehicles. Following available at the cottage for your use: hairdryer, CD collection, lots of DVDs to watch (kids/adults), books, stereos, two tv rooms, quiet room for reading/listening to music, selection of many board games, three cook books in the kitchen THE GREAT FLAT LODE TRAIL This trail is a 7.5mile circular trail in the area of Camborne within easy reach from the cottage and is centred around Carn Brea hill whereby you can make a detour and visit with stunning views. This trail is good to cycle, walk or even horse ride and just round the corner from the cottage. The property has a washing machine and dryer present in the kitchen along with ironing board, airer and iron. There is a traditional Cornish range in one of the sitting rooms and a wood burner in another. sleeps 10 people...8 people on beds upstairs and two on a sofa bed on the ground floor. Bed linen and towels included Children must be supervised around the large wildlife ponds as NOT ENCLOSED. These ponds are surrounded by animals and wildlife (horses, chickens, geese, birds) so please drive slowly through the grounds. Gardens NOT enclosed but dogs can be exercised on the hillyfields, within the grounds, which have stunning views. Local grocery shop within one mile in the village of Troon and the friendly local pub, The Countryman, is situated within driving distance in the village of Piece which regularly has events/music on and serves good food too. No extra charge for pets. Four pets welcome more on arrangement. No crocodiles please
