Positive: I had booked a sea view room so I knew the view would be perfect. The location is also very good as it is right on the seafront. The staff were very friendly. The room was a very good size and the bedding was clean.
Negative: The hotel is very dated which I knew in advance as I stayed before about 12 years ago. I don't think anything has been updated since then. The mattress on the bed sloped to one side so was very uncomfortable. The shower was terrible. Very old and water temperature fluctuated constantly. Very low pressure too. The room was stuffy as the weather was good but windows only open about 10cm. The door to the room didn't close very well and a member of staff walked into our room around 8am, cursed and walked out again!
Summary: A good trip that could have been so much better.
