Children should be supervised at all times due to terrain and there being a ravine 75 yards from the property. In the winter access can be difficult due to terrain. A 4 X 4 is advisable but at your own risk. Note: Dogs should be kept under control at all times due to adjoining open farmland. If you use the canoes then you do so at your own risk. It was founded in 1793 by the Duke of Buccleuch ('Buckloo’) and is also known as Copshaw Holm, or The Holm.
